Custom Order Timeline
What to expect once you start a custom pipet order.
- Order placed & design beginsOnce you place an order including the development fee, we will go ahead with the design of the pipet based on the information you gave us and send you a drawing for your approval.
- Drawing approval & mold orderAfter you approve the drawing, we will order the mold. This can take 10–12 weeks from the time the part drawing is approved.
- Evaluation samplesWe will then provide you with a pack of approximately 500 pipets for your evaluation.
- Sample approval & part number releaseOnce you approve the samples and packaging it will take about 1 month to release the new part number.
- ProductionThe production lead time will be 4–6 weeks.
The more specific information you can give us ahead of time, the less likely we will need any changes. Changes, if necessary, will require additional time and cost.
